In Case You Didn’t See My Text

My girlfriend will text me, and then if I haven’t texted back within a couple of minutes she’ll resend the same text. If I still haven’t gotten back to her she’ll call me and ask if I got her text. The worst part is that her texts don’t require a reply. Here’s a couple examples:
Text: They put a redbox in Albertsons!
Text: They put a redbox in Albertsons!
Call: “Did you get my text, they put a redbox in Albertsons! Cool huh?!”
Me: “Yes”
Text:Katie cut her hair off, she looks sooooo bad!
Text:Katie cut her hair off, she looks sooooo bad!
Call:Did you get my text, Katie cut her hair off! Crazy, right?
Me; “Yes”

Whenever a girl says something like that I just assume she wants attention. Though she sounds super needy.

Simple, just counter with:
Text: Shaved my nuts and now it itches like hell!
Text: Shaved my nuts and now it itches like hell!
Call: Did you get my text? I shaved my nuts and it itches like hell! Crazy, right?
Text: Just took a dump and popped a hemorrhoid!
Text: Just took a dump and popped a hemorrhoid!
Call: Did you get my text? Took a dump and popped a hemorrhoid! Crazy, right?
